Developing Guidelines for Implementation of Learning Outcomes in Inclusive Education
On the 25 – 26th April 2019, the Agency for Pre-Primary, Primary and Secondary Education Bosnia and Herzegovina organized a CIDREE expert meeting to share ideas and experiences about implementation of the Learning Outcomes in Inclusive Education. Participants were given insight into ways and methods that different countries use to adapt programs for children with special educational needs. The meeting was attended by representatives of Estonia, France, Ireland, Scotland, Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The expert meeting provided us with a general overview of the existing situation in the field of Inclusive Education in participating countries and helped us to detect major obstacles that hinder inclusion, but also to detect ways to support teachers to understand and reach learning outcomes in Inclusive Education.
The meeting also provided the opportunity for professional discussion on the key success factors for the implementation of Inclusive Education in participating countries as well as the opportunity for exchange of good practices. An interactive workshop opened up the opportunity to exchange information through presentations and discussions.
Participants exchanged information about their educational systems and legal frameworks for inclusive education and also discussed the ways and methods that countries use to adapt programs for children with special educational needs. Indicators of implementation and process of school self-evaluation were also presented.
